Chef and serial restaurateur Andrew Weissman put together a formula that since 2007 has been turning the humble burger into a handheld taste of the good life. Big’z starts with some one of the best beef in this series, half-pound patties with a nice fat-to-lean radio, a hard brown sear and the ability to cook them from india bloody rare to hockey-puck out done and anywhere in between.
The fancy part kicks in with upscale french fry sauces and upcharge burger extras like extra blue cheese, beer-braised onions and friday eggs.
Organizers compiled six commandments for participants, nothing that people should tip well — and be prepared for wait and sold out specials some pepole.
